Job description

Help children in Bristol get cycling!

As a Bikeability Cycling Instructor, you’ll be an inspirational mentor to children ages 4 to 14. Working as part of a small team, you’ll engage pupils in a series of skill-building activities in the playground, before progressing to cycling on the road.

A key part of the role will be to oversee the health and safety of the class. You’ll create a safe learning environment where each child is supported and encouraged to pedal independently.

We deliver lessons in term time throughout the year, whatever the weather unless it’s extreme. So it’s important you enjoy staying active and working outdoors. In this rewarding role, you’ll enable young people of all backgrounds to build self-awareness, and confidence - and broaden their horizons with a lifelong skill.
