Where is it taught?

The course is taught in Bristol. We can travel to some locations, depending on how far you are from Bristol and how many learners you have. Contact us to find out more.

Assessment & qualification

Our tutors will observe you throughout the course and assess your teaching standard during this time. Next, you’ll need to complete some online tasks in your own time. Once you’ve successfully completed these activities, you’ll achieve ‘provisional tutor status’. You’ll then be able to deliver the Level Two Award in Cycle Instructor Training.

Post course assessment

Once you’ve gained experience delivering the Level 2 Award your tutor will visit to do your practical observation. This will involve observing you teaching part of a Level 2 course. If your tutor is confident that your teaching is up to the required standard, you will earn your qualified tutor status.

What's covered in the price?

As well as covering the cost of the course, our fee covers:

  • Your registration fee with 1st4sport.
  • Tutor support before, during and after the course.
  • One post course assessment visit.
  • Final certification.

Assessor travel costs for the post course assessment visit are not included.

How is this course accredited?
