Supported Leisure Ride - New Years Ride to Nailsea

The new Years Ride to Nailsea has been rescheduled to this Saturday the 15th of January. A slightly longer ride for our Supported Leisure rides programme, this 15-mile return journey to Nailsea is predominantly off-road, making use of well-surfaced traffic-free cycle paths and quiet country roads.

 

Explore Bristol’s cycling network on our Supported Leisure Rides. These short, gentle rides are the perfect way to get back in the saddle and build your confidence.

 

Supported Leisure Ride - New Year’s ride to Nailsea: A slightly longer ride for our Supported Leisure rides programme, this 15-mile return journey to Nailsea is predominantly off-road, making use of well-surfaced traffic-free cycle paths and quiet country roads. It is ideal for Beginners and or Returners who are looking to try a longer distance. This is a great challenge to kick off the New Year with.  Bicycles available to borrow from the Create Centre.

 

Meet Point:

11am Create Centre, BS1 6XN

 

We recommend you bring:

  • A bike in good working order
  • spare inner tube for your bike
  • bike lock
  • snack / water / money for refreshments
  • clothing suitable for the weather


If your bike has a mechanical issue that the group can’t fix, you’ll need a backup plan, e.g. a friend or family member able to come to pick you and your bike up, alternatively bring a lock and be prepared to walk and bus home.
