Supported Leisure Ride - Oldbury Court

A mainly off-road or quiet road route from St Werburghs, through Eastville and on to Oldbury Court. Stopping for refreshments or bring a packed lunch.

Life Cycle UK's Supported Leisure Rides bring the benefits of cycling to adults in Bristol wishing to improve or maintain their physical and emotional well-being.

Oldbury Court: Starting in St Werburghs, the ride goes through Eastville Park, along the river and into Oldbury Court. The route home takes you along the Bristol to Bath railway path. Route mainly off-road or quiet roads. Steep hill out of Oldbury court but riders can walk up if needed. Stopping for refreshments or bring a packed lunch.

Meet Point: 11:00am St. Werburgh's City Farm, BS2 9Y

Please note that all Finish Times listed are approximate and may vary.

Recommend you bring:

  • A bike in good working order
  • spare inner tube for your bike
  • bike lock
  • snack / water / money for refreshments
  • clothing suitable for the weather

If your bike has a mechanical issue that the group can’t fix, you’ll need a backup plan, eg friend or family member able to come pick you and your bike up, alternatively bring a lock and be prepared to walk and bus home.
