Children's Lessons

Life Cycle UK provides cycle training that gives children the skills and confidence to ride safely - to Government approved Bikeability standard. Thanks to funding from Bristol City Council, we offer:

Individual Lessons for 11-15 year olds

Each 1 hour lesson is delivered on a one-to-one basis, tailored to the specific needs of your child at a location convenient for you.

Family Lessons

Family Cycle lessons are designed to help families master the skills needed to cycle as a group and all participants are expected to be able to cycle already. The two hour sessions are for a group of up to 5 (must include at least one adult), we start off-road to assess everyone’s ability and take it from there building skills and confidence as we go.

Holiday Courses

Alternatively, if you're looking to keep your child busy during the holidays, try one of our holiday courses.

All bookings are subject to our standard Terms & Conditions.

What to bring

You will need to bring a roadworthy bike to use - that's it! UK law does not require you to wear a helmet. If you do it should fit correctly.

"As a parent I am very grateful for this opportunity - to have someone teach my daughter what are life-saving, practical skills. It has given me much more confidence too - for her to go out on the roads."  Mrs P.
