Reece and Denirose Maggs from Hamham were left heart broken when thieves stole their bikes from their own front garden.
Upon hearing the story, Life Cycle came to the rescue, offering Reece and Denirose some replacement bikes to get them back on two wheels. The delighted siblings can now look forward to a whole summer of cycling on their new steeds - reports The Post.
The bikes were taken from Life Cycle's pool of donated bikes, which we collect at our Family Cycling events. At these event we hold a kids bike swap, where children can bring along an outgrown bike, and swap it for a larger one. The old bikes are then fixed up, so that they in turn can be passed on to another child in need of a bike. As well as bike swap, we offer fun and games, Dr Bike, and lots of advice on how to get cycling.
If you're in need of a bicycle for your children, come along to our next Family Cycling events, which are on August 13th and 29th in Hartcliffe. Click here for more details.
