Life Cycle's 'Two's Company' project has received a very kind donation of a tandem bicycle, in memory of Adrian Hill, who sadly passed away last year.
Adrian used to work for Life Cycle as a mechanic and was a keen cyclist and lover of all things bicycle, and those close to him were keen for one of his beautifully kept bikes to help support our tandem rides for young people and adults who are blind and visually impaired.
The Orange Canondale has provided a fantastic addition to our fleet of tandems and is proving popular with our riders. Last week we took it out on the Bristol to Bath cycle path for a ride to Bitton and trip on the steam train.
Our thanks go to Adrian Hill's friends and family for such a generous donation.
Two’s Company opens up a whole new world for adults and young people who are blind, visually impaired or disabled by giving them the opportunity to get out and enjoy the sounds and smells of the countryside and participate in a healthy, fun and life enhancing activity - tandem cycling.
