Volunteering with Life Cycle UK is a great way to develop your skills, meet new people and work as part of an enthusiastic team. We have around 50 volunteers who make a huge contribution to our work every year, and we simply would not be able to continue much of our work without them.
If you are passionate about getting more people cycling, able to help fix bikes to a high standard or able to support some of our group ride activities, then please consider volunteering for us.
If you are interested in helping in anyway possible then send us an email and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
We are looking for group ride volunteers to help support our Bike Minded project in the Bristol area and for our new project in the Kingswood area of South Glos. Please click here for more information and to fill out our application form
We are looking for volunteer bike mechanics who can give up half a day a week on a regular basis to help with our bike recycling project at Bristol Prison. Click the link above to download an information sheet with full details. If you are interested in getting involved, please fill out this short application form.
We need one or more volunteer mechanics to help fix up kid's bikes for a Family Cycling Project we are running. The mechanic needs to be able to run more or less without support (i.e. we cannot provide training). The bikes are required for 'Kid's bike swaps' - in which we have a number of refurbished kid's bikes done up to a standard where they are ready to be traded or sold. It is a great way to keep the kid's cycling. If this is something that interests you, please get in touch.
Life Cycle is in the process of establishing a bicycle recycling project in Derby. Once the project is up and running we aim to offer various volunteering opportunities - watch this space!
