Are you interested in providing cycle training on a professional level? Do you want to become a fully accredited National Standard Instructor?

Life Cycle UK is one of just 17 organisations in the UK who offer fully accredited National Standard Instructor (NSI) training courses.  We helped devise the new National Standard for cycle training and have worked with local authorities, NHS trusts and the private and voluntary sectors across the UK to train instructors.

Our courses comprehensively cover the theory and the practice of teaching children and adults to ride safely on-road, to the official standards set by the Department for Transport. We cover essential issues such as risk assessment, insurance, child protection, teaching techniques and client care. 

People successfully completing the course will be provisionally accredited as National Standard Instructors, becoming fully qualified after completing a probationary period during which they are observed teaching (we can also provide the necessary on-the-job monitoring, prices on request).

Dates of upcoming National Standard Instructor training courses:

30th, 31st January and 6th, 7th February 2012 

All courses run from 9.15am to 5.30pm for four days at the Create Centre in Bristol. Places cost £450 per person. We can also run Instructor Training courses anywhere in the UK and provide advice about issues such as administration, insurance, publicity and child protection.
