Life Cycle at Work

Life Cycle at Work is the name we’ve given to a range of services that we’re offering employers. We will visit your workplace and...

  • Audit your existing cycling facilities. Do you have enough bike parking?  Is it properly positioned?  Can cyclists shower and get changed? Is there adequate storage space for clothing and luggage?
  • Recommend improvements and advise you about grants that are available to help fund them.  In the Bristol area, for example, free cycle parking stands are available.
  • Run a roadshow  or information stall for staff giving out advice, demonstrating bikes and equipment, and giving out free cycle maps.
  • Run a Doctor Bike surgery to give people’s bikes a check-up.  Simple faults are fixed on the spot and advice issued.
  • Provide cycle training for staff.  This is a fantastic motivator!  People report improved skill and increased confidence and most trainees go on to cycle more often.
