Cycle training for children.

Life Cycle UK runs training course at schools in Bristol and Bath & North East Somerset and we also run courses during the school holidays. Our approach is child-centred. We don't lecture the children or talk down to them. Instead, we build on young people's natural enthusiasm for cycling and draw out their understanding about traffic and how it operates. We encourage children to think for themselves. This is an interactive approach that really motivates and engages young people. They begin to grasp the rules of the road and start to develop real 'road sense'.

We make it as easy for a school to host a high quality course. Traditional cycle training uses volunteers, ties up teacher-time and requires the school to organise and administer the course. We're different! We use our own professional cycle training instructors and we take care of much of the admin. We are also happy to visit a school and talk to a class or to a school assembly to generate interest.

All of Life Cycle's courses meet the Government-approved Bikeability standard for cycle training.
