Children learn how to cycle skillfully and safely. Children learn how to cycle skillfully and safely.

Our holiday courses and 1:1 cycle training sessions give children the skills and confidence they need to ride in their local area. Our training meets the Government-approved standard called Bikeability - cycling proficiency for the 21st century!

Holiday courses for 8-11 year olds

We run Bikeability level 2 courses for 8 to 11-year-olds at Bristol Grammar School and Widcombe Junior (in Bath) during the holidays. Courses run for 2 hours each day for 3 days. Places cost just £10 for children attending Bristol or Bath schools.

Training begins off-road, away from traffic, but then moves onto local roads. Children learn how to control their bikes, how to anticipate other road users' behaviour, and how to carry out manoeuvres with skill and confidence. We work with small groups of children so everyone gets lots of attention. At the end of the course the children get certificates and we provide feedback to parents on the child's progress.

We are running Easter holiday courses in 2010 at both Bristol Grammar School and Widcombe Junior on:
- 6, 7 & 8 April
- 13, 14 & 15 April

The morning courses run from 10am to midday and the afternoon courses run from 1 to 3pm. Call us to book on 0117 353 4580.
