The perfect solution for bored kids and stressed parents! Life Cycle is offering cycle training courses that get children out of the house and onto their bikes.
Courses run for two hours each day for three days, teaching children the Bikeability level 2 standard. The morning course (BGS41) runs from 10 to midday and the afternoon course (BGS42) runs from 1 to 3pm.
Training begins off-road, away from traffic, but then moves onto local roads. Children learn how to control their bikes, how to anticipate other road users' behaviour, and how to carry out manoeuvres with skill and confidence. We work with small groups of children so everyone gets lots of attention.
At the end of the course the children get certificates and we provide feedback to parents on the child's progress.
The courses take place at Bristol Grammar School, Elton Road, Bristol, BS8 1SR. Places cost just £10* for the the full course. Please phone us to book a place on 0117 353 4580.
*applies to children attending Bristol schools. For all other children, the full price payable is £49.
