Life Cycle is a small local charity that makes a big difference to people's lives by helping them to cycle. Most of us don't think twice about getting on a bike, but for some people there are insurmountable barriers that mean they can't cycle. We help people overcome these barriers by offering specialist help and support and this can have a huge impact on their lives....

How will your donation make a difference? Case Study: Two's Company
Imagine losing your sight as a result of an accident or degenerative condition. Now imagine not being able to do many of the things that you enjoy ever again, including not being able to hop on your bike and go for a ride.
Two's Company supports adults and children who for whatever reason can't see well enough to ride a bike, by organising regular tandem rides around Bristol. We are supported by a group of sighted volunteers who give up their time for free to ride at the front of the tandems.

Keeping Two's Company on the road doesn't cost much, and even a small donation can make a BIG difference, for example
- £5 pays for new brake blocks for one tandem
- £40 covers a full annual service for one tandem
- £350 pays for 10 visually impaired people experience the freedom, exhileration, fresh air, exercise and friendship of a day out on a tandem
