Great news, Adult Cycle Training is now FREE
We are now able to offer those adults who live, work or study in the Bristol City Council area up to 3 free hour long cycle lessons. There is a £5 booking fee which is refunded when your lesson takes place.
Can't ride a bike? A bit wobbly? You're not alone. We can help you get on a bike and get cycling. Beginners are called Level 1.
Need a refresher?
Haven't been on a bike for a while and want to start cycling? Or perhaps you're confident on traffic-free routes but want to start cycling on the road? Our instructors can teach you the skills you need to cycle safely and confidently in traffic. This is Level 2 instruction.

What you should bring:
You will need a roadworthy bike for your lesson. To check your bike is suitable please download the attached.
We can also do lessons for electric bikes.
If you don't own a bike you can hire one for the duration of your lesson but only from the instructors at our Bedminster and St George venues. The cost for this bike hire is £5.
UK law does not require you to wear a helmet, but if you do wear one it should fit correctly. For more information on helmets please download the attached.
Bristol : Thanks to Bristol City Council, sessions are currently FREE for those over the age of 16 who live, work or study in the Bristol City Council area and you can have up to 3 lessons, depending on your ability. To secure your booking, all we require is a £5 refundable deposit. .
B&NES: Thanks to Bath Cycling Campaign, sessions are currently £5 for anyone over 12. If you are a B&NES resident please book using the link on the 'Outside Bristol' page.
Anywhere else: Life Cycle have a presence in Salisbury and Gloucester. For Salisbury please book online or for Goucester you can arrange by emailing us firstname.lastname@example.org For all areas outside Bristol our charge is £30 for 1-hour session.
