Buy a bike
Life Cycle works with prisoners at HMP Bristol teaching them skills to refurbish old bikes. Once refurbished and checked over by a qualified mechanic, they are sold at affordable prices to help people on low incomes get cycling. Income from bike sales goes directly back into the project.
Bike sales will be held on the pedestrianised area in the City Centre - opposite the Hippodrome. They start at 8.30am and will last until the bikes run out! Upcoming sales:

Prices
Childrens bikes start at £10
Adult bikes are mostly priced between £40 and £100. We do have some higher end bikes priced between £100 -£200.
We also sell a range of quality locks and lights, from just £5.
Five good reasons to buy a bike from us:
- Bikes are reasonably priced.
- After being refurbished by Prisoners, all bikes are thoroughly checked by Life Cycle's experienced Cytech qualified mechanic to ensure they are working well and safe.
- The project is teaching prisoners at HMP Bristol mechanical and general employment skills and providing them with something meaningful to do whilst inside.
- BikeBack reduces waste and makes good use of valuable resources
- The project is getting people on bikes, reducing congestion and pollution in Bristol.
