Who is it for?
You will either have attended a ‘Know your Bike’ (KYB) workshop, or will already have good working knowledge of the bike maintenance techniques that we cover on the KYB course. If you are a beginner, we strongly recommend that you attend our ‘Know your bike’ course.

What people say...
The Bristol and Bath listings magazine Venue sent one of their journalists, Mike White, to road-test a Life Cycle BMW. Mike's article describes the experience and concludes:
"It's fast-paced but beautifully explained and, best of all, we all get to try each new skill on our own bikes. I beam to myself all the way home. It feels like I'm riding a new bike, I've acquired a wealth of really useful skills..."
Small Print
We can take bookings on-line or over the phone. We do not reserve places.
You need to be aware that due to limitations with our website, occasionally you can book a course which has recently filled. In this case, you will be offered a place on a course on a different date, or a refund.
Even more rarely, we do not get sufficient bookings to fill a course. In this event, we reserve the right to cancel it. We will normally do this no later than one week prior to the run-date of the course. (This basically only really happens in peak summer-holiday time, or the run up to Christmas!)
When you have booked on-line, you will receive confirmation the payment has been received. (In the event of an over-booking, as described above, you will be emailed spearately). The confirmation of payment confirms your place on the course. Apart from this, we will contact you (by email) a few days before the course start date to remind you of your booking, and give you course joining details.
A booking is for one person only, working on one bike only. Please do not bring along a 'mate' without paying for them! We reserve the right to ask you to leave!
This course is aimed at teaching you how to work on your bike. It is not intended to be a cheap bike repair service. If we think you are treating it as a cheap bike repair service, again, we reserve the right to ask you to leave!
Book a whole course....
You may be an organisation or one of a group of people who want to book a whole course. (Courses have a capacity of 6 for a tutor). If you do this, we will reduce the full course fee by £60 (ie £10 per attendee). You have to find 6 participants. We deal with only one contact person. This offer only applies to fully booked courses.
